The objective of the company’s activity is the manufacturing and printing of polyethylene-coated paper packaging for the food sectors (packaging: meat, cheese, portioned foods such as sugar, pepper, spices) and industrial sectors, as well as trading raw materials for the paper industry and corrugated cardboard packaging (such as cellulose, kraftliner paper, semi-chemical paper, offset paper), serving clients from various industries.
The annual turnover of S.C. TIGER SOMES IMPEX S.A. exceeds 50 million Euros, and we produce over 10,000 tons per year of polyethylene-coated paper, 75% of which is sold on European markets, primarily in Italy and France, as well as Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Reunion, Hungary, and even Australia. The remaining 25% is sold on the Romanian market.
The raw materials used are health-approved. The finished products obtained in our manufacturing process are health-approved by the Ministry of Health. The company is certified with I.S.O. 9001:2015 and I.S.O. 14001:2015 for quality management, BRC (BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials), and FSC.
